The website and booklet contain information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, university police law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, fire safety, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security on campus. They also contain information about fire statistics in AU Residence Halls and crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Auburn; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

This information is required by law and is provided by AU Department of Public Safety and Security.

Job Description Summary

The Department of Health Outcomes Research and Policy at Auburn University’s Harrison School of Pharmacy invites applications for a 12-month tenure-track faculty position. Individuals with expertise in health outcomes research or related fields in the social and administrative sciences are encouraged to apply. The primary research goal of the Department is to improve medication-related outcomes through practice and population-based research. The Department’s faculty are engaged in the following research areas: patient-oriented research to improve the effectiveness and safety of medication use, pharmacy-based and community-based research to advance patient care services, and population-based research in drug safety and precision medicine. Applicants should have expertise in related or complementary disciplines to work collaboratively with other faculty in the Department, with other Departments in the Harrison School of Pharmacy, and across Auburn University.

Successful candidates are expected to:
• Actively participate in the teaching mission of the Harrison School of Pharmacy at the graduate
(M.S., Ph.D.) and professional (Pharm.D.) levels;
• Develop and/or maintain an extramurally funded research program;
• Be involved in collaborative research programs;
• Demonstrate a high level of scholarly activity as evidenced by quality publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and active participation in professional societies; and
• Contribute to Department, School, and University service activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in education of health professionals and graduate students. Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. or comparable training (e.g., MD with research experience or DrPH).

Desired Qualifications

A professional degree in pharmacy is desirable but not essential. Extra consideration will be given to candidates who have experience in research and teaching in health outcomes or health services research.
