They also contain information about fire statistics in AU Residence Halls and crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Auburn; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

This information is required by law and is provided by AU Department of Public Safety and Security.

Job Description Summary

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures of Auburn University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in French Linguistics starting Fall Semester 2018.

Minimum Qualifications

PHD in French Linguistics (Second-Language Acquisition), or related fields by the start date of ; native or near-native fluency in French and English; evidence of excellent undergraduate teaching skills at college level and of potential for successful research and scholarly/professional activities; eagerness to contribute to program expansion section/departmental engagements, and extracurricular activities.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with multi-media technologies (Canvas) and current language pedagogies and positive current teaching evaluations, together with experience in innovative course curricula, are highly desirable.
