They also contain information about fire statistics in AU Residence Halls and crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Auburn; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

This information is required by law and is provided by AU Department of Public Safety and Security.

Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Position located in Mobile, Alabama.

This full-time, 9-month, non-tenurable appointment, is designed to work with the HSOP faculty and staff to provide premier educational experiences for students primarily at the Mobile campus, but may include distance teaching with the main campus in Auburn.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Participation in student-centered instruction to PharmD students including in small and large group instruction with active instruction and assessment of pharmacy related skills.
• Training specific to the current curriculum will be provided.
o Teaching students in a skills lab environment each week will be required, as well as managing inventory for the Mobile campus laboratory;
o Collaborating with faculty and staff to coordinate Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE) throughout the year;
o Complete training to be an APHA immunization trainer within one year of hire;
o Supervise simulation compounding of prescription orders and parenteral preparations.
• Provide mentorship to a group of assigned students and student organizations alongside other faculty members through the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE).

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have earned a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS degree from an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy and be eligible for pharmacy licensure in the state in which they practice.

The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time of appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Excellent communication skills required.

Desired Qualifications

Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have a residency, board certification, extensive work experience in a clinical environment or other credentials.
