They also contain information about fire statistics in AU Residence Halls and crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Auburn; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Auburn University is seeking qualified candidates for a nine-month, non-tenure-eligible, Lecturer position. This position is on an annual contract that may be renewed each year based on need, funding and performance.

Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of this position are to teach undergraduate general chemistry courses. Successful candidates should have experience teaching large enrollment (>200 students) courses, proficiency with on-line assessment and instruction, experience developing lecture and laboratory curricula, and should be familiar with active learning pedagogies.
Candidates will need to submit a cover letter, statement of teaching philosophy, curriculum vitae, transcripts, and contact information for three references.
Candidates should have instructional experience and a record of high quality teaching at the University level. Successful candidates will be required to possess a Doctorate in Chemistry or Biochemistry. The selected candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of appointment and continue working legally for the term of employment. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are required.
